Perfect Stay in Amish Country
My wife & I were down from Chicago on an overnight business trip in the Arcola/Arthur area and we were so pleased to find this place. The corporate feel of a national chain would have undermined the charm and warmth we’d experienced all day in the area, so this place was perfect. The check in process was smooth and friendly; it felt like we were visiting someone in their home, actually, and the rooms even had Amish blankets and Amish-style furniture! But, even beyond all of this, we knew we chose the right hotel when the next morning we were sipping coffee in bed and could hear the soothing clip-clop of a horse-drawn buggy outside our window!
